8 AUG 2012 - Listed in General EventsShe visits the lobby of the visitor Center at 10:30 a.m. every second Saturday and second Wednesday of the month to excite the imaginations of all the children around her by reading stories of the forest and the animals that live there.
Upcoming visits and reading topics are:
August 8 and 11, "Itsy Bitsy Spider"
Sept. 8 and 12 "Whooo Loves the Night"
Oct. 10 and 13, "Autumn Leaves at Hobbs"
Nov. 10 and 14, "Gobble, Gobble; Our Wild Turkeys
Dec. 8 and 12, "Our Winter Wildlife and Feathered Friends"
Story time is followed by Hands-on craft activities. Children of all ages are welcome. Most stories target ages 3 - 6.
Each program is one hour. There is no fee.
The visitor center is located on U.S. Highway 12, just east of the intersection with War Eagle Road.
